About this blog

I am an undergraduate at Oxford University who enjoys everything about films; from the pre-release hype to the post-film credits.

This blog is all my own work and opinion, and I’ve put a university twist in the blog to make it stand out a little more. The biggest change is the the rating system, which  is now done by class of degree:

1* is a Fail

2* is a 3rd

3* is a 2:2

4* is a 2:1

and finally 5* is a 1st

As well as rating new movies I also want to watch and review the ’50 films to see before you die’ as chosen by Film4.

On top of this I will also write articles analysing how to makes classic films in different genres using specific movies as examples. These articles are under the ‘Tutorial’ sub-heading.

There is also a section for all  the interviews I have with directors, stars and cast which is named ‘Lectures’

The final section is the ‘Freshers’ area which will have trailers and clips from all the movies I am excited about before they are released. This section will be constantly up-dated as I discover what new movies lie on the horizon.
